What material is used in making The Table Leaves?

The Leaf is made of 1 millimeter thick Steel. It has been powder coated to insure smooth edges for safe handling.

What are the dimensions and weights for The Table Leaves?

The “24” – The Leaf is 24 inches wide and adjusts to fit tables measuring 30 to 42 inches. When The “24” is placed between two tables, it extends them by adding an additional 18 inches of usable table surface area. The “24” is made in two sections and weighs a total of 19 lbs.

The “36” – The Leaf is 36 inches wide and adjusts to fit tables measuring 30 to 42 inches. When The “36” is placed between two tables, it extends them by adding an additional 30 inches of usable table surface area. The “36” is made in two sections and weighs a total of 26 lbs.

Space is limited in our kitchen, where can I store The Leaf ?

The hole in each section will allow The Leaf to be hung on a hook. The hook can be anchored into the wall of your service area. Hook not provided.

How can I best use The Table Leaf?

The Table Leaf is easy to install. Simple instructions are included in the shipping package. Set-up requires no assembly other than putting the two sections in place as per instructions. See visual set-up above.

In restaurants where tablecloths are used, The Leaf is ideal. Simply place the tables 18 inches apart and place the bottom section in the opening followed by the second section. Push the tables toward each other so that The Leaf is firmly set between the tables. Pull both tablecloths toward the middle so that they cover The Leaf. The steel in The Leaf is less than 1/8th of an inch thick. If tablecloths are used, there is no noticeable indication that there is a leaf underneath.

If your restaurant does not use tablecloths, you might want to purchase either a cloth or vinyl tablecloth to make this configuration a "Special Occasion" seating for large parties.

While the Powder Coating on The Leaf is very durable, it is similar to the paint on automobiles. Dishes and abrasive items may eventually dull and/or scratch the finish when used without a tablecloth. Clean The Leaf as you would clean a tabletop.

What is your return policy?

Upon delivery, please inspect The Restaurant Table Leaf's package for damage. If the package is damaged, inspect the contents. If there is damage to The Leaf, file a written claim with the delivery company immediately. No item may be returned to The Restaurant Table Leaf, LLC 30 days after delivery.

How is The Restaurant Table Leaf shipped?

All table leaves are shipped out FedEx Ground Delivery. If the item is in stock, delivery is between 3 and 5 days. If the item is not in stock we anticipate your delivery will be within 3 weeks. We only accept and ship orders to the continental United States.
